Our weekend

So we thought it would be fun to take the kids to the beach and get fresh air and out of the house! We went to North Island base cornado (sp) beach..It was so much fun, Taylor was not having too much fun and said she was cold. We found several sand dollars which I was amazed to find since I NEVER in my lifetime found any and we found like 4 great shape ones. We forgot our camera so we used our phones. I just got a few. My little tater tot! Even though she was not having a great time, she still was able to find a smile and take the picture! lol

My sweet sexy husband who was so kind to use the carrier and hold blake since my back has been horrible and killing me the last several weeks. Carrying around a 20lb kid 24/7 or at least that is how it feels does a real number on your back.

I thought this was so cute last night. To see them sleeping so soundly and so cute!

This was before of course, Mark was reading and blake wiggled his way from a sitting position to under daddy's arm being silly. He thought it was the greatest thing ever! Too silly! I have a clown on my hands..

Blake's Barber Trip w/Daddy

Mark and I were out running errands the other day while Taylor was at school and Mark needed to get his hair cut so we thought it would be fun if Blake got his done too. A daddy/son outing...So here are the pics of that day! The pic below was takin a day or two before his barber trip..It needed a cut bad...Second hair cut in his life and he is only 5 1/2 months old...WHAT's up with that!
The barber started and Blake is still trying to figure out what is going on and how he should react.Now he is unsure what is really going on other than he doesn't like the clipper sound and he wants to get downNow he is mad and wants his arms free to push the guy away This is our sweet baby fast asleep after his haircut..BOY that was a lot of work!! Notice he is clenching his teething ring...sooo cute... Well both my kids are really sick with this dang cold/flu thing going around.It's horrible..Taylor has been home from school the past two days with fever, cough runny nose, and today she woke up throwing up with a bad tummyache...Blake has a runny nose, cough..fun fun day in the humpherys house...lol

Update

I know I know I am horrible about keeping this thing updated! So we down to Tucson last weekend to visit my family and to see my grandparents that were in town. They haven't met Blake so it was a great trip to do that and see everyone. We had a GREAT time! Everytime I get together with my family I NEVER get any sleep and when it's time to go home my cheeks are soo sore...We stay up soo late, and laugh soo much!! My sisters are soo funny and the best! All our girls LOVE to be together and play and now that Blake is in the picture he has 5 little mommies looking after him...

We were all joking that he would be looking out to date the girls friends when he was older!! I guess I will have lots to look after when that time rolls around!! He is getting so big and my back is literally KILLING me everynight.

Mark got sick shortly after us returning home, and is just now starting to feel better...today blake started with a runny nose so he is the next victim to it. SO you know its only a matter of days for Taylor and I to fall victims of it!! Mark took leave this month and will head out to sea beginning of April. I hope him being gone goes as fast as it feels right now with him preparing to leave. I swear it feels like the days are rushing by...I just want them to go slower now and faster when he is away..but June is coming up quickly and taylor will be out of school so we can do our road trips and fun activities to keep us busy..

Ummm, my house is coming along..we still have some boxes to unpack. Blake's room is 99% done and looks so cute..Taylor on the other hand has tons of boxes of TOYS..where did this kid get all of it..and where am I going to sick it all...that still remains to be seen...

Well I have to keep this short, since Blake is in the beginning stages of this cold he is fussy and not sleeping well...so I need to tend to him. I will post pics tomorrow...

Total Slacker

Okay I am a HUGE slacker..but in my defense getting settled in a new house with two little ones who constantly need and want your attention its no wonder we have the neccessities unpacked. LOL Poor mark with his Chief school takes him away from home a lot since he has study group everyday after school gets out..by the time he gets home we eat dinner and then it's about time for the kids to go down for bed and then he has even more studing to do. It seems we are two passing ships in the sea...at least we haven't forgot to kiss each other hi, bye and goodnight. LOL

I still have so much more to unpack, and so much more to do and prepare before Mark leaves overseas real soon. After he is out of school coming up he will take a short leave and prepare to head out to meet his ship somewhere in the open waters of the sea. He will be gone for several months which means his and my b-days,easter, mothers day and fathers day, our anniversary, I'm sure I'm missing another one he won't be here for. It will TOTALLY suck!! I just recently told him honey this year is my BIG 30 I want you to plan a BIG party for me..he said okay and then a week later he came home and said "I have to leave shortly after school lets out to meet the ship and I will be gone for several months" I had the hugest lump in my throat and wanted to cry. Not cause he wouldn't be able to plan my b-day but thought its coming up sooo soon...now I want to cry cause he won't be able to plan my b-day and he will be missing out on all the other events...I have to be strong and count down the days till he is back home. So you may read LOTS of boo hoo blogs from me while he is away..lol

Other news, Blake and taylor got haircuts. I thought for sure Blake would get his first haircut at around 1yrs old but NOPE he got his at 4 months. Taylor wanted to have her hair cut shorter cause she said she was tired of my combing her tangles and hurting her head! lol and since her titi has shorter hair she wanted just like her. So she got it cut shorter..and I lived a little and let the lady give her layers...

I can not find my cord to the PC/Camera to upload recent pics of everyone. As soon as I find that I will be posting like crazy! I have a few of the kids I've taken with my phone I will post...
